【SUMMARY】: All JBT100 Tee Head Bollards for The CONSULTANT OF PAYRA PORT'S FIRST TERMINAL PROJECT (PPFTP) have been installed in April, 2025, which means the project achieved an important milestone.

JBT100 TEE HEAD BOLLARD

The CONSULTANT OF PAYRA PORT'S FIRST TERMINAL PROJECT (PPFTP) is jointly constructed by CHINA CIVILENGINEERING CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION and CRCC HARBOUR & CHANNEL ENGINEERING BUREAU GROUP CO.,LTD. The project owner is the Payra Port Authority. This project the third major port project planned by the Bangladesh government. Its completion is of extremely important strategic significance to the entire southern region of Bangladesh and even the country's international trade. On April 8, 2025, the owner Payra Port Authority issued a completion certificate, marking the successful completion of this strategic project and high quality acceptance by the owner.

JIER Marine designed and supplied spheroidal graphite cast iron JBT100 Tee Head Bollard with 3 safety factor for this project. The project has strict technical requirement. JIER Marine’s technical team designed and submitted the drawing for JBT100 Tee Head Bollard after studying carefully the project technical specifications. The contractor and owner team finally approved the drawing after checking all details rigorously.

The JBT100 Tee Head Bollards supplied by JIER Marine were subject to 1.5times load test in accordance with the international standard BS 6349-4:2014, under the witness of a third-party professional institution. After a 5 minutes static duration, no cracks or damage were found on the surface of the spheroidal graphite cast iron bollards. The test results proved that the JBT100 Tee Head Bollards manufactured by JIER Marine fully meet the project's safety load requirements.

JIER Marine provided professional installation guidance for the port. According to the project requirement, JIER Marine developed a customized installation plan to keep the surface of the JBT100 Tee Head Bollard base flush with the dock level. The plan ensured that the spheroidal graphite cast iron mooring bollards were installed in a way that maximized their mooring capacity while also maintaining an aesthetically pleasing appearance, making the bollards an integral part of the port's landscape.
