The project planned to build two 100,000ton general berths and one 200,000ton general berths (hydraulic structure is reserved for 200,000ton) and corresponding supporting works, with the designed passing capacity of 12.22 million t/a and the annual cargo throughput of 8.5 million t. JIER MARINE supplied super cell fender JSC2000H, super cell fender JSC2250H, D type fender D300H II, super arch fender SA800H and mooring bollards with 2000KN for this project.
JIER MARINE can produce different types of high-quality rubber fenders and mooring bollards. In this project, JIER MARINE supplied three types of rubber fenders, meeting the comprehensive needs of Rizhao Port. All rubber fenders produced by JIER MARINE are approved by Bureau Veritas to PIANC 2002. Super cell fender is one of the most widely used fender types in the world at present. It has reasonable structure, reducing the compression stress and improving stability. Therefore, it has the characteristics of strong stability, high energy absorption and high load, and has the smallest compression deformation among all types of large fenders. The installation of the D-type fender is much easier. It can be installed by bending, chamfering, flanging and other processing methods. In addition, it can also be cut according to the required length. D type fender can usually be used on tugboats, barges, working boats and pilot boats as side fender to prevent serious friction damage to the hull. Super arch fender has a simple structure and has a high energy absorption and low reaction force. It has stable performance as well. You can reduce the height of rubber fenders and save your product’s cost if you choose this kind of fender for your product. There are two arch fenders that you can choose from, JDA-A and JDA-B. The arch fender can be added a UHMW PE Pad on the top of the fender body to reduce the surface pressure and thus increase the shear resilience of the ship when it is docked. It is particularly suitable for docks with limited installation space. What’s more, JIER MARINE also supplied some 2000KN T head mooring bollards for the project. These bollards have passed tensile and material tests by a third-party inspection organization and have been painted to meet ISO 12944 C5-M Marine corrosion protection standard. They are well adapted to the port environment and meet the port's requirements for the long-term service life of bollards.
