JIER Marine JCO2500H-The largest Super Cone Fender in the world

On April 8^th, the Project Owner TENAGA NATIONAL BERHAD (TNB) and Contractor CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING COMPANY (CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD.) from 275KV TRANSMISSION LINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM PMU NEW PRAI TO PMU THE LIGHT visited JIER Marine rubber fender factory. We had a deep communication with an aim to proceed with the supplying of the high-quality rubber fender system and mooring bollard system smoothly and successfully.

On April 8^th, the Project Owner TENAGA NATIONAL BERHAD (TNB) and Contractor CHINA HARBOUR ENGINEERING COMPANY (CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN. BHD.) from 275KV TRANSMISSION LINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM PMU NEW PRAI TO PMU THE LIGHT visited JIER Marine. We have shown them around in the factory to learn more about us by checking our rubber fender manufacturing processes, quality control measures, Research and Development and overall production capabilities.

After the visit, JIER Marine had a short meeting with the project owner and contractor. In the meeting, JIER Marine Team made a presentation about our several former overseas projects and some typical rubber fenders and mooring bollards. In 275KV TRANSMISSION LINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM PMU NEW PRAI TO PMU THE LIGHT, we adopted Super Cone Fender JCO2500H as the berthing protection with single fender body weight 18.5ton, which is the biggest in the world. 275KV TRANSMISSION LINE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT FROM PMU NEW PRAI TO PMU THE LIGHT is located in the state of Penang, Malaysia, near the Penang Bridge and Penang Port. The project aims to build a 275kv transmission line with a length of 9.5km, which will be across the Penang Strait from the NEW PRAI power plant on the mainland side to THE LIGHT Substation on the island side. JCO2500H supplied by JIER MARINE for this project is the largest cone fender on the market, providing excellent protection for the RING BEAM. Moreover, JCO2500H has excellent performance and it can help a variety of ships to berth safely.
