JIER Marine won the bid for Construction of The Basic Infrastructure of Phase Two of The Kribi Deep Sea Port Project at 2023. Kribi Deep Sea Port is located on the Atlantic coast some 285 km from the capital Yaoundé. It is strategically positioned in the center of the Gulf of Guinea and is surrounded by the 262 square km Kribi Industrial Area, destined to host new industrial and logistical developments. The owner of this project is Cameroon Ports Authority and the EPC is China Harbour Engineering Company.
Super Cell Fender, Arch Fender and Pillar Bollard
JIER Marine supplied big quantity of JSC2000H Super Cell Fender System with 2m Height, JDA300x2850 Arch Fender System and JBP200 Cast Steel Pillar Bollard for this project.
JSC2000H Super Cell Fender approved by PIANC 2002 and BS 6349-4:2014 is a customized big size rubber cell fender along with customized 3560x3580 steel panel for the marine fender system as the full package. According to the specifications of different projects, JIER Marine can design and produce different sizes of steel panels to make sure the rubber fender system can be protected effectively and meanwhile to maintain a lower hull pressure.
The JDA300x2850 Arch Fender System for this project is composed by arch rubber fender and rubber ladder. It’s a ladder fender system that can not only prevent the quay from colliding but also facilitate the work of staff to climb with a competitive cost.
JBP200 Cast Steel Pillar Bollard is one of the biggest standard pillar mooring bollards from JIER Marine. This type of marine bollard can be placed on jetties where vessels berth on both sides of the jetty structure due to their 360-degree line of load range.

Cooperation with Hohai University (HHU)
Hohai University (HHU) is the best university with research and study of water resource in china which is very famous for its hydraulic engineering ranking no. 1 in the world and harbour, coastal and offshore engineering.
The project team from Cameroon Ports Authority and China Harbour Engineering Company have visited the laboratory of Hohai University (HHU) who has long and deep cooperation with JIER Marine on R&D cooperation and University-Industry cooperation with HHU for education development and talent training and academic communication which helps JIER Marine to improve the level of company management and enhance the quality standard of the marine fender system and mooring bollard system to serve the ports in a better way. They witnessed the Simulation Test of Ship Berthing and Mooring in HHU with JIER Marine Fender System and then some more tests according to relevant international standard such as PIANC 2002 and ASTM standard in JIER Marine Factory with great satisfaction.
