JIER Marine Completes Delivery of Certified Super Arch Fenders for Kuwait Port Project

Last month, JIER Marine delivered the final batch of 352 JDA300H Super Arch Fenders for the project REHABILITATION OF BERTH 1 TO 7 IN SHUWAIKH PORT FOR KUWAIT PORTS AUTHORITY.

The JDA300H Super Arch Fender—a globally proven solution for port infrastructure—underwent rigorous quality validation:

• TGA (Thermogravimetric Analysis)

•  Physical property tests including:

• Tensile strength

• Elongation at break

• Compression set

• Hardness

•  Tear resistance

• Ozone resistance

•  Bond strength

•  Abrasion resistance

Third-party verified compliance with project specifications

Bureau Veritas (BV), the internationally recognized professional marine certification body, executed comprehensive production validation—including performance testing of 35 fenders to PIANC 2002 standards alongside full visual and dimensional inspections—confirming all reaction force and energy absorption metrics met project requirements.

Following Kuwait Port Authority (KPA)'s review and approval of BV's certification reports, JIER Marine successfully delivered all 352 units of fenders in early July, completing the contract with full technical compliance.
