We finished and shipped 56 sets of JIER JCO1050H Super Cone Fender System from our factory in Qingdao lately; Chittagong Port Authority order the completed fender system including steel front frame with UHMW PE pad, chain system and full sets of anchor accessories in this July. We also took strict test before leaving the factory; witnessed and certificated by BV and customer inspector according to the PIANC 2002 Guideline.

Chittagong is the largest port city in Bangladesh, with a total area of 157 square kilometers. It is located in the lower reaches of Karnaphuli River on the southeast coast of Bangladesh, about 16km away from the estuary and close to the northeast of Bengal Bay. It is the largest seaport in Bangladesh. Chittagong is a natural harbor built in the 16th century. There are 28 wharves and 11 main berths. The water depth of the berths is 6.4-8.5m and the maximum water depth is about 10m. Seagoing ships can enter the port along the Karnaphuli River, with a channel width of 198-274 meters. Chittagong accounts for 80% of Bangladesh's international trade and 40% of its industrial output value. It is not only the second largest city in China, but also the national import and export portal. The railway can reach the capital Dhaka directly. The port is about 9km away from the airport.
